Wisconsin Up Next For U.S. Mint For 2026 American Innovation Dollars

The United States Mint is set for its second release for the 2026 American Innovation dollars. Beginning today at 12pm EST, you can get the $1 coin honoring Wisconsin in 25-coin rolls and 100-coin bags from Philadelphia and Denver.

Introduced in 2018 with an introductory coin, the multi-year series is in its ninth year and aims to honor innovation and innovators for each of the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the five United States territories (Puerto Rico, Guam, American Samoa, U.S. Virgin Islands, and Northern Mariana Islands). The year 2026 will honor Iowa, Wisconsin, California, and Minnesota.

The Cray-1 supercomputer, which helped the government to predict the weather, control space flight, break codes, and map seismic hazards, is featured on the reverse of the design.
